System Requirements

Oracle Developer Studio 12.6 software can be installed on Oracle Solaris 10 or Oracle Solaris 11.3 operating system on SPARC-based or x86-based platforms, or on the Oracle Linux operating system.

You can choose to install the IDE, Performance Analyzer and dbxtool on a local (client) system and use them to connect to a remote server running the Oracle Developer Studio product. Supported configurations for the client system include the following:

  • OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional or later; Ubuntu 9.10; Macintosh OS X 10.7 or later

  • Java: One of the Java versions specified in the previous table

  • Disk space required for these components: 300 MB
