Downloading and Installing Oracle Developer Studio 12.5 From a Tar File

The following instructions explain how to install Oracle Developer Studio 12.5. These instructions apply to installation on Oracle Solaris 10, Oracle Solaris 11, and Linux platforms.

Note -  When you install from a tar file you cannot get support or patches for the product from Oracle. If you want such support you must use a package installer. See Installing Oracle Developer Studio 12.5 on Oracle Solaris 10 and Linux or Installing Oracle Developer Studio 12.5 On Oracle Solaris 11.
