In Figure A-9, NM2-GW represents a Sun Network QDR InfiniBand Gateway Switch (leaf switches). NM2-36P represents a Sun Datacenter InfiniBand Switch 36 (spine switch).

In this configuration, six up-links from the gateway switch (leaf switch) are cabled to the Sun Datacenter InfiniBand Switch 36 (spine switches). Each leaf switch is connected to each spine switch.
