CORE_DUMP_DEST = directory

Dynamic. Scope = ALTER SYSTEM.

$ORACLE_HOME/DBS/ 

CORE_DUMP_DEST is primarily a UNIX parameter and may not be supported on your platform. It specifies the directory where Oracle dumps core files.
