This image shows an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region that includes three availability domains. The region includes the Oracle services network including Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage.
The region includes a virtual cloud network (VCN) that spans the availability domains. The VCN provides the following:
- File storage services for the VCN
- A service gateway to the regional Oracle services network
- A network address translation (NAT) gateway to enable external communications with a private subnet
- A public subnet and a private subnet
-
Analysis tier (regional public subnet): A virtual machine (VM) hosts the Oracle Stream Analytics web user interface from availability domain 2. The VM communicates with the Spark VMs in the process tier.
-
Process tier (regional private subnet): A virtual machine hosts the primary Spark instance in availability domain 2 and the standby primary Spark instance in availability domain 3.
- A virtual machine hosts Kafka, Zookeeper, and Spark secondary instances in each of the three availability domains.
